This was a whizz trip of the South Island with Tien when I first arrived in June. We rented a car (a Daewoo Lanos from Scottie's Rentals no less - could it get any better than that?!) and did a very speedy tour around some major places. It was great fun and made me immediately realise New Zealand was going to be a perfect choice of country for me to spend a year in.
