Waitomo Caves

After Rotorua we went to Waitomo for a caving adventure - expensive but definitely good fun. We abseiled down, then wondered through some caves checking out the local glow worms (!) before jumping into the water with our "tubes" and coasting downstream for a bit in the dark. Spent a couple of hours inside the cave, then had some climbing to get out at the other end - interesting trip, but not something I see myself getting addicted to...a wee bit cold if nothing else!
