Update Time
It's been a while - which either means I've been having lots of fun, or I've been really slack keeping up with my blog... or both. The last few weekends have involved two of my favourite things - lots of exercise, and lots of socialising :)
October: Had a great weekend in Braemar with Richard, Jo, Steve, Helen & Eric - we hiked up Beinn a' Bhuird on Saturday in amazing weather - a fun scramble up the ridge and birthday cake (for Eric) on the summit! Then the Ghillie's Ball Ceilidh at Mar Lodge - we danced every dance, it was such a good laugh :) Sunday we went for a run, then pottered about before heading to Ballater for a walk (and find more trees for Steve to climb)... on Monday Richard & I biked up Glen Tanar & climbed Mount Keen (in pretty mince weather to start with but it cleared up for good views at the top). Click HERE to see all the pics! We also tried salsa-dancing on Tuesday night at Cuba Norte - fun!
November: Weekends this month have been mountain-biking at Glen Tress, climbing at Ratho, walking, biking & running in the Pentlands, having Fiona & Bernard to stay for a couple of nights (with some social tennis :), and a lunch/afternoon/evening out on Saturday with a few RPM instructors (participating in 4 fitness classes before heading out with other 'nutter' instructors was a dangerous combination!).
Also went to see the Proclaimers at the Usher Hall last week, and had a couple of trips to London for work-related stuff. I've a couple of tournaments coming up so its back into tennis training this week ;)
