Tennis trips...
Just back from 3 weeks away for tennis - just like old times...except this time I was only playing for one week, so it got a bit boring. Bournemouth was quite good...Ross (Murdoch) and I were coaches/babysitters/cooks/taxi-drivers for 8 days. I lived in a house with 6 kids aged 10-12 (3 boys, 3 girls) and Ross stayed in a B&B with 3 other boys aged 12-14 just down the road. One of the kids I coach (Emma D) won the U/12 singles which was great, two Scottish girls won the doubles, and one boy got to the final of dubs....so a pretty successful week overall.
BBQ; Danni, ED, Morv, Adam, Jonny, Mack!
Onto Queenswood School (Hatfield, North London) for the U/18 & U/16 GB Nationals qualifying event. Hung around for a couple of days in between without much to do...one of the girls qualified for the 16s on Thursday but other than that it wasn't very exciting. Craving some physical exercise of a decent length when I get back...skipping for about 45 mins a day just doesn't do the trick for me :)
