Mt. Winterslow

Some more pics...

The overview...

A day hike up to Mt. Winterslow with 19 people – a popular trip! We carried ice axes which weren’t needed, but there was a bit of snow at the top, cleverly concealing the annoying “Spaniard bushes” which seem to attack similarly to the cacti in Arizona. It was a fun hike, although the wind picked up strongly in the afternoon and there weren’t many places to shelter from it. We struck a few summit poses with a view to winning the upcoming photo competition, but I don’t think anybody remembered to print them in time. Oh well. The Austin Powers and spread-eagled headstand poses seem to be the frequent summit pose for me at the moment. Come on, otherwise its just boring!
