update
Well, the last 4 weeks or so have gone by pretty fast...without anything too exciting to report except work. I've been in London a couple of times, through in Stirling a lot, doing fitness tests, programmes, feedback and reports, and coaching at Craiglockhart in my spare time :)
This weekend I managed to spend some time doing stuff I wanted to do, which was really nice. I went Orienteering yesterday (with Mark & Sylvia) - at Craiglockhart Hill! So I had a little advantage when it came to some of the controls being placed conveniently around the tennis centre and the forest/lake nearby! However, my navigation on the small maps could still do with a fair bit of tuning... but it was definitely good fun.
Mum & dad have just booked a family ski holiday for us all in March - first time in 10 years we'll be going skiing all together! Plus Jen :) So I tried on my ski suit tonight - a fair bit tighter than it used to be, but it's still okay!
I'm going through to Kirkcaldy tomorrow night to see the show my parents are in each year - this year it's "A Christmas Carol"... the title sounds all cheery but apparently it's really sad, so I'll have to remember the box of Kleenex.
Next Thursday I'm heading to Sunderland with the East of Scotland Senior County Team - we're in the bottom divison, and we're really just going for a bit of a laugh. The week after that I'm off to South Africa for 2 weeks with a British squad of players for some junior world ranking tournaments - that sounds like more fun :) Hope I get to see something other than tennis courts, airports and hotels though... Back for 2 days and then I'm in London for another four... and then it's just about Christmas - aaaaaaaahhhhhh! But I've just ordered a new couch, so when I come back from my travels I should have a nice new leather sofa to relax on... believe it when you see the pictures posted.
